Police Misconduct and Brutality Takes Many Forms

The phrase “police brutality” might conjure up images of violent encounters and horrible headlines from the past, but sometimes even less glaring infractions can constitute police misconduct.

Common examples of police misconduct and brutality in Georgia include:

  • Improper use of weapons

  • Excessive force (including assault, battery, or beatings)
