The Vision Zero Action Plan is Atlanta’s long-term plan to reduce fatal and serious traffic accidents. It includes a list of the Top 20 High Injury Intersections along the High Injury Network.
The analysis identified intersections along city and state-owned streets because they experience a high number of crashes.

- Campbellton Road at Barge Road
- Metropolitan Parkway at Cleveland Avenue
- Piedmont Road at Morosgo Drive
- Williams Street at 10th Street
- North Avenue at Spring Street
- Piedmont Road at Lindbergh Way
- Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway at Fulton Industrial Boulevard
- Piedmont Road at Pharr Road
- Piedmont Road at Lakeshore Crossing
- Northside Drive at McDaniel Street
- Northside Drive at 14th Street
- Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at Fairburn Road
- Boulevard at John Lewis Freedom Parkway
- Buford Highway at Lenox Road
- North Avenue at Peachtree Street NE
- Metropolitan Parkway at University Avenue
- Moreland Avenue at McDonough Boulevard
Per the study, the High Injury Network includes less than 10% of the surface streets in Atlanta. Even so, those roads account for about 73% of fatal and serious injury crashes based on the five years of data analyzed in the Vision Zero Action Plan.
The city uses this information to help decide where roadway improvements can have the greatest effect. These projects include changes to intersections, crosswalks, traffic signals, lane markings, and other safety features.

The Vision Zero Action Plan also considers feedback from Atlanta residents. The following streets are not part of the High-Injury Network, but residents have identified them as locations with safety concerns:

- Spring Street NW
- Glenwood Avenue SE
- Edgewood Avenue
- Euclid Avenue NE
- Boulevard SE
- Luckie Street NW
- Park Avenue West NW
- Peachtree Center Avenue NE
- Bouldercrest Drive SE
Based on that feedback, the city has identified these streets for additional study.
