Having received his Juris Doctor with honors from Georgia State University College of Law in 2003, David M. Van Sant has established himself as a nationally recognized personal injury trial lawyer who has received many accolades. The majority of his individual practice focuses on representing people who have suffered injuries through the fault of others, such as through car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, nursing home neglect and wrongful death cases.

Mr. Van Sant focuses his practice on representing individuals who have suffered injuries through the fault of others, including car accidents, motorcycle wrecks, tractor-trailer accidents, nursing home neglect, wrongful death cases, and other personal injury cases.

Parker Van Sant

Parker Van Sant has been practicing with Van Sant Law since 2016. Parker prides himself on practicing personal injury law and only personal injury law. Instead of "treating my practice as an all-you-can-eat buffet" he prefers to master the nuances of Georgia’s personal injury law so that he can offer you the expert assistance you need to demand the justice and the settlement that you deserve. 

Parker was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up in Roswell, Georgia. He graduated with honors from Auburn University in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in International Business. In 2016 he received his Juris Doctor, again with honors, from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. 

R. Shannon Carpenter

Prior to joining Van Sant law, Mr. Carpenter practiced at one of the most respected law firms in Atlanta, Georgia where he focused on defending large insurance companies, commercial trucking companies, and product manufacturing companies. He left this position to found Sammons & Carpenter, P.C., as he realized that working with individuals and their families was much more fulfilling. The insider knowledge into how such companies evaluate claims gives Mr. Carpenter a unique perspective which he continues to use to maximize the settlements he obtains for his clients at Van Sant Law.

Kate Karassik

Kate Karassik has been practicing personal injury law with Van Sant Law since 2019. She holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia in Political Science and a Master of Education from Georgia State University. Kate is passionate about her love for law and justice for clients. She is extremely dedicated to fighting hard for her clients to get them the results and settlement that they deserve.  

Jeremy Karassik

Jeremy Karassik, the practice’s Operations Manager, joined Van Sant Law in 2017. He has worked in all areas of the practice and is intimately familiar with the needs of clients and how to work with medical providers and the insurance companies to ensure all of Van Sant Law's clients receive the medical care that they need and are compensated at the highest possible levels.
