Saluting & Supporting Georgia’s Military Veterans

When planning our inaugural educational scholarship fund, the team at Van Sant Law decided that there was no more deserving group in our community or across the country than the brave men and women who have served in the military. Especially in recent years, as millions of young men and women have served overseas in places of conflict including Iraq and Afghanistan, we cannot thank service members enough for their sacrifices, courage, and resolve.

Even though many veterans return to school with the help of military-related educational assistance programs, many still struggle with financial difficulties, such as school-related expenses and living expenses. Many veterans also struggle with continuing their education while raising young families or living with disabilities associated with their military service. It is our hope that this scholarship shows our support and care for Georgia veterans and makes their road to a new degree smoother and easier.
