Heavy Weekend Traffic Means Drivers Need to be on the Alert

Categories: Accident Victims

Thousands of cars will clog the Cobb Galleria Centre this weekend for the 2012 Fall Atlanta Home Show.

This is Georgia’s largest fall home show, and it will feature exhibits from hundreds of local home improvement companies and experts, as well as celebrities from HGTV, including Vern Yip, of Design Star and Design Star All Stars. There will be speakers each day.

General Admission tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the Show’s entrance. Children age 12 and under and adults age 65 and older (with I.D.) are admitted free. On-site parking is free. The Cobb Galleria Centre is located at Two Galleria Parkway, so watch for extra traffic in the area on Friday and Saturday.

Fall weather is bound to put people on the roads this weekend, so the Law Offices of David Van Sant encourage all drivers to be on the alert. The more traffic on the road, the more accidents there usually are. In addition, cooler weather tends to bring out the motorcycles, so Mr. Van Sant reminds drivers to use their mirrors and watch for cyclists on side streets and highways.

Car accidents typically go up in number on weekends, and fall weekends in Georgia are particularly bad, If you are in an accident and are not injured, move your vehicle to a safe place on the side of the road or off the highway. If you are injured, call 911 and get the treatment you and your passengers need. Then contact a personal injury attorney for assistance with medical insurance claims, auto insurance claims, and to receive full understanding of your options.
