# Pedestrian Injured in Cumming | Van Sant Law

An Atlanta woman was hospitalized Wednesday morning after she was struck by a pickup truck while crossing Veterans Memorial Boulevard in downtown Cumming. The 26-year-old was hit in the crosswalk along West Maple Street, by Donald E. Jones, 72. Jones was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. The 26-year-old suffered traumatic injuries to her lower extremities.
